 Holiday Visa - Working holiday visa is designed to enable young people between 18-30 (and up to 35 in certain cases) from certain countries to experience life and employment in Canada. Applicants in this program do not require approval from Human Resources & Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). The Working Holiday Programs have been created to foster international exchange between Canadian youth and the youth of participating countries and allow participants to experience Canadian lifestyle and culture.

Participating countries include; Austria, Australia, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Ukraine and the United States, as well as other countries.

Your Destination working Holiday Information

1. Age Requirement 
Applicants must be aged between 18 and 30.

2. Validity / Timing Working Holiday permit is valid for one year. The permit cannot be dated to commence more than one year from the time that the application is lodged.

3. Quotas 
No limit on numbers that can apply.

Available from the Consulate General and Embassy office.
