Delhi University (DU) MCA Entrance Test

Established in 1922, the Delhi University is amongst the most prominent institutions of India. Ever since the beginning, it has been the centre of the academic excellence. Department of the Computer Science was recognized in Delhi University in year 1981, with objective to impart the quality education for Computer Science.

MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
MCA (Master of Computer Applications) is a three-year programme and the department was begun in the 1982 and was amongst first this kind of programmes in India. The department is very proud of having more than 700 graduates on important positions in the IT (Information Technology) industry within India and abroad.

Eligibility

• B.Sc. (Honours) in Computer Science having 10+2+3 scheme from Delhi University or other recognized University with minimum 60% marks in total.
OR
• Any bachelor’s degree from Delhi University having minimum one paper of Mathematical Sciences annually or minimum two papers of Mathematical Sciences in the semester mode or equivalent degree the minimum percentage necessary is 60% in aggregate. The relaxation of marks is 5% for candidates of SC/ST categories.
OR
• The candidates appearing in final year exam of degree on basis of that, the admission is given to who are eligible to apply.

Admission Procedure

50% of seats will be filled based on merit in B.Sc. (H) Computer Science for Delhi University. Students securing minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (H) Computer Science of Delhi University are eligible for this category. The candidates want to apply in this category, should apply with the application processing fee through deadline given. Remaining 50% of seats will be filled using the entrance test organized by Department of Computer Science after an interview.
