Delhi University MCA Admission 2013-2014 course
The three-year program of MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
was started in the year 1982 and it was amongst first MCA
programs in India. Since then, it is enormously popular and
amongst the most required after the courses in India. This
department is conceited of over 700 alumni in important
positions in the information technology industry within India
and abroad. All the information associated to the Delhi
University Admission, including the DU Entrance exam results,
agenda for the interviews appropriate for MCA only, with
counselling will be informed on department website as well as on
department notice board. The Entrance test will be organized at
the University of Delhi.
Eligibility
B.Sc (Honours) in the Computer Science having 10+2+3 schedule
from the Delhi University or other University that the exam is
accepted as equivalent to the University of Delhi having 60%
marks in total.
OR
Any bachelor degree through University of Delhi having minimum
one paper of Mathematical Sciences under the annual mode or
minimum two papers in the Mathematical Sciences through the
semester mode or other equivalent degree The minimum percentage
necessary is 60% marks in total with 5% relaxation marks for
candidates of SC / ST categories.
Note: The Mathematical Sciences consist of the Computer Science,
Mathematics, Statistics, and Operational Research. The
candidates appearing in final year of degree based on basis of
that admission is required are also qualified to apply.
Admission Procedure
50% of seats will be filled based on basis of the merit in B.Sc.
(H) with Computer Science exam of the University of Delhi.
Merely those students having secured minimum 60% in B.Sc. (H) of
the Computer Science exam of Delhi University are adequate for
the deliberation under the category. The candidates attracted to
apply for the admission in that category, should apply with the
application-processing fee through deadline given in the
document. No separate advertisement shall be issued for this
purpose. Remaining 50% of the seats will be filled using the
entrance exam organized by the Department of the Computer
Science after the interview.
