UCMS Delhi MBBS Admission 2013-2014
University College of Medical sciences, Delhi MBBS Course Admission
This college was established as a constituent college of
University of Delhi in 1971. The college is presently located at
Dilshad Garden. Its teaching hospital is Guru Teg Bahadur
Hospital. The college conducts medical courses in undergraduate
and post graduate levels, paramedical courses, Ph D courses in
medical faculty. The college offers great faculty and was
awarded 9th ranking in the survey conducted by Outlook- Synovate
survey in 2008. College offers separate hostel facilities for
boys and girls. Two more hospitals, Rajiv Gandhi Super specialty
hospital and Delhi State cancer Institute will be associated
with this college soon. The well established faculty is involved
in teacher training and student education. This college has its
affiliation with University of Delhi.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS course has to appear
for the common medical and dental entrance test conducted by the
University of Delhi. The details regarding the eligibility
criteria for this examination will be available in the Bulletin
of information issued by the Faculty of Medical Sciences of
University of Delhi. Candidates belonging to diffent sections of
the society have different eligibility criteria to fulfill. The
bulletin of information can be obtained from the Deputy
Registrar of Faculty of medical science, University of Delhi or
from the Principal, University College of Medical science, in
person. The application can also be down loaded from the website
www.ucms.ac.in.
Admission procedure
If the candidate is successful in the entrance exam, he/ she
will be called for counseling and a medical test before
announcing to be eligible for admission to the MBBS course. The
