Stanley Medical College (SMC) located in the city of Chennai,
the state capital of Tamil Nadu, is one of the oldest government
medical colleges with hospital in the state of Tamil Nadu and

its inception in 1938. The Stanley Medical College has been

conducted by NDTV. The SMC is affiliated to the Dr MGR Medical
University and provides the following facilities for their

enabled lecture halls, Bank and ATM, separate hostel for boys
and girls, canteen, library and sports.
Eligibility Criteria:
It is important that a candidate who is seeking admission to the
MBBS course offered by the Stanley Medical College has to be an
Indian citizen and must be over 17 years of age at the time of
seeking the admission to the course. The candidate should have
passed the 10+2 or Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the
Tamil Nadu State Government or any other Board or qualifying
examination that is recognized by the college. The candidate
must have passed the qualifying examination with main subjects
being English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Admission Procedure:
The admission to the MBBS course will be given to candidates who
have written the Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance
Examination (TNPCEE) conducted by the State Government of Tamil
Nadu for students within Tamil Nadu or the All India Pre Medical
entrance examination conducted by the Central Government. The
candidates will be selected to the course based on the merit
marks that he or she obtains in the entrance examination. For
