Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi MBBS Courses Admission 

The Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), named after the great leader and educationist that the country has ever seen, Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, is ideally situated in the capital city of Delhi and has been serving the educational requirements of the aspiring medical students with quality and research oriented courses since its inception in 1959. Inside the MAMC campus there are three hospital blocks namely Lok Nayak Hospital. Guru Nanak Eye Centre and Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital located. The college building was declared open by the then Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 26th February, 1961. The college has been recognized as one of the top 25 medical colleges in the country for the past several years and it is accredited with the Medical Council of India.

Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate has to be an Indian citizen and above 17 years of age in order to be eligible to seek admission to the MBBS course offered by the Maulana Azad Medical College. The duration of the MBBS course is for five and a half years which includes a one year internship course as well. A candidate will a minimum pass mark in the 10+2 examination conducted by the State Governments in India or any other recognized State or Central Board with English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects.

Admission procedure:
All the eligible candidates will have to attend a common entrance test, the DPMT entrance test, in order to seek admission to the MBBS course of MAMC. The students will be admitted to the MBBS course based on the marks obtained by him or her in the entrance test as well as the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The candidate must also pass the medical test conducted by the college during the final interview to gain admission into the college.
