Christian Medical College, CMC Ludhiana MBBS Admission Courses 2013-2014

The Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, a Christian Educational and Research Institution, was established in the year 1953 with the objective to train young men and women to serve the poor and untouched areas of the society by imparting knowledge in the field of medical science through the various course offered by the college. The MBBS program was the first undergraduate program to be started by the college which was affiliated to the Panjab University in Chandigarh. The Christian Medical College is now affiliated to the Baba Farid University of health Science in Faridkot. Apart from the undergraduate MBBS courses, the college now offers post graduate diploma and degree, super specialty as well as doctoral programs to the aspiring candidates in and around Ludhiana.

Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate aspiring to take up the MBBs course offered by the Christian Medical College of Ludhiana has to be an Indian citizen and should have completed a at least 17 years of age a the time of seeking admission. Also persons of Indian origin who are living in different countries of the world can also apply for the course under the NRI category. A candidate interested to take up the MBBs course should have scored not less than 50% marks in the qualifying 10+2 pattern examination or the Higher Secondary School certificate conducted by the State government or any other State Government’s qualifying examination system that is approved by the college. A minimum of 50% marks in the English subject and other main subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination is the minimum eligible criteria to seek MBBs admission.

Admission Procedure:
The admission to the MBBS program of the Christian Medical College of Ludhiana is through the common written entrance test conducted by the college on a specified date. Only candidates who score high marks in the written test conducted by the college will be selected for the MBBS course offered by the college.
