ICFAI University

ICFAI University focuses in creating and spreading skills and knowledge in the base and frontiers areas among students though its innovative educational programs, research programs, consulting and publishing, and enriching new level of professionals with high standard of ethics, high level of competency, and commitment towards professional code of conduct.

Numerous educational courses are running under ICFAI. University offers various degrees or diplomas in discipline of finance, insurance, management, banking, accounting, information technology, law, science and technology, commerce at UG and PG level on regular basis and distance learning system. Private candidate can also enroll in various programs if they satisfy the criteria of eligibility. University does not offer any support services or contact classes to private candidates. Private candidates have to prepare themselves for the program they opt as per the curriculum and are required to attend the examination as per the norms of the university.

Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India funds ICFAI University in Tripura, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Jharkhand and Mizoram and they are following all rules of education under their respective state. Government of Orissa passed the ICFAI university act whereas government of Assam, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab and Gujarat issued letter of intent to ICFAI for establishment of universities. Each university is a separate and independent legal entity.

ICFAI University is authorized to award degrees at Bachelor, Master or Doctorate levels to eligible candidate subject to the university regulations. University Grants Commission (UGC) accredited ICFAI under UGC Act 1956.
Very recently ICFAI has introduce distance learning programme for those professional who want to study more without quitting their present job. Most of professional are attracted towards MBA programme. Many believe after doing MBA course from ICFAI with surly boosts their career. There are plenty of universities who offer distance learning platform however not everyone is as good as ICFAI.
