Healthy Homemade chocolate ice cream
Ingredients to prepare healthy homemade chocolate ice cream:
1 ½ tsp unflavored gelatin, 3 large egg yolks, 2 ounces of
chopped unsweetened chocolate; ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1
cup nonfat sweetened condensed milk, 3 cups low-fat milk
Method to prepare healthy homemade chocolate ice cream:
In a bowl, add water and gelatin together. Stir it well till
gelatin gets fully dissolved in it.
In a saucepan, pour milk and add cocoa and chocolate to it and
mix well.
Boil milk in another pan over medium heat. Now add egg yolk to
it and beat it well. Slowly pour hot milk and mix well. Now
strain the mixture via a fine-mesh and add gelatin mixture to it
slowly.
You can now add ½ cup of milk to mixture and refrigerate it for
an hour or so.
In a separate bowl, blend cream mixture and pour it into a cream
canister. Place canister in refrigerator and when it gets firmed
serve it with nuts and chopped fruits topping.
