NITTE University MBBS Entrance Exam 2013-2014

NITTE University organizes the Common Entrance Test named NUUGET (NITTE University Under Graduate Entrance Test) for the Under Graduate admission of the intention of determining eligibility as well as Merit for the admission for students to MBBS Degree Courses in element colleges of the NITTE University. The college names are K S Hegde Medical Academy (For MBBS) and A.B Shetty Institute of Dental Sciences (For BDS) in Deralakatte, at Mangalore.

Eligibility
Candidates who accomplish the following criteria are eligible to take part in the NUUGET (NITTE University Under Graduate Entrance Test):

The candidate who has cleared 2nd year of Pre – University or the 12th standard or any other equivalent exam with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as optional subjects with English as amongst the study languages and obtained the total minimum 50% in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry put together. However, for SC / ST applicants, it is 40%. Candidates having their 10+2 results may not be announced yet can also apply. However, they can submit attested copies of marks before the last date therefore they may be considered for the counselling in case, they have achieved over 50% in qualifying exams.

Registration Fee
The candidates are requisite to pay Rs. 750 as registration fee through the Demand Draft favoring “NITTE UNIVERSITY”, to be paid at Mangalore. For MBBS, there are 100 seats available (Subject to variation). The course duration is 4 ½ Years plus 1 Year of Internship.

Admission Procedure
The completed application form with all the appropriate documents must be sent to address given in the contact details. Candidates have to super scribe sealed envelope having Application Form of the NITTE University UGET, “Application For The NUUGET ″. The Exam Hall Ticket for NUUGET will be sent through post at postal address provided by the candidate.
