Medical Entrance
Exam
Medical
Examinations in
India 2013-2014
You must admit
the fact that the medical profession is regarded the noblest
profession as the doctors have power to give life to the ailing
people to some extent. In our society the doctor is regarded
next to God. Hence it is easily assumed that you must not let
the chance go astray as there are chances of standing by the
ailing persons and watch them smiling. Besides, there is enough
scope to take it as a profession with the chief aim to serve the
ailing humanity.
But sometimes
desire never pays. You have to cross some hurdles to be a
medical practitioner. The criteria go thus. First of all you
have be a science student in the 10+2 standard with Biology as a
subject. Then after the completion of your H.S you have to
appear for the Medical Entrance Test, conducted by different
institutes of India.
The common and
the most popular among the medical tests in India is AIPMT or
the All India Common Medical Examinations. To have a berth in
any one of the medical colleges of India you have to qualify in
any one of the examinations.
The AIPMT is a
national level examination. It is conducted exclusively by the
Central Board of Secondary Education. In this exam 15% seats are
reserved in the medical colleges governed by state and union
Governments and different local authorities of
India
as per the AIMPT norms.
AIIMS aims at
catering high standards of both under graduate and postgraduate
students with a definite purpose to hone them for the special
skills. The students who prosecute their studies there may have
the facilities of modern medical systems there under the special
guidance of skilled medical personnels.
The
examination you can even aspire for is the Medical Entrance exam
that is conducted by different State Medical Council Boards, the
C B S E Board and different universities ready to offer MBBS and
the BDS courses in the country.
Finally you
must remember the fact that if you are willing to appear at the
Medical Examinations you must have Chemistry, Physics and
Biology as the main subjects.
