Delhi University MCom Entrance Exam

Delhi University organizes the M.Com entrance exam every year to give admission in the M.Com course. It is a 2-year full-time course. The Department of Commerce was recognized in the year 1967. It is amongst the prominent courses in country. This programme is well reputed in industry as for years; it is serving the requirements of the managerial cadre in the industry and business. This course serves requirements of the academics and prepares the students for teaching and research in business studies. There are two venues for teaching the M.Com:

North Campus,
Department of Commerce,
Delhi School of Economics,
University of Delhi,
Delhi-110007

South Campus,
Arts faculty,
Benito Juarez Marg,
Delhi-110021

Eligibility
The candidate desiring admission to the M. Com. should have passed B.Com. (Hons.) from the Delhi University or any equivalent recognized University with minimum 50% marks or Passed B.Com (Pass) from Delhi University or other recognized university with minimum 55% marks, or passed B.A. (Hons.) with Economics from Delhi University. The student equivalent to recognized university with minimum 50% or passed the B.B.E, B.B.S, B.B.A, or B.F.I.A degree from the Delhi University or other university-accepted equivalent with minimum 60% marks.

Admission Procedure
All admissions to the M.Com course are given on basis of the merit in Admission Test conducted by Department of Commerce. There will be central entrance test as well as admission procedure managed from the Arts Faculty for the regular students. Despite fulfilling minimum eligibility needs given in list, candidates have to have minimum 40% in admission test to become eligible for the admission. Based on performance in admission exam, separate merit lists are prepared for general and other reserved categories of students.
