The University is situated in the historic battle city of Kurukshetra and was established in the year 1956 with its foundation stone laid by Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Extending over 400 acres of land, Kurukshetra University is one of the top notch study centers in the country. The University began its functioning as a Sanskrit College and has now advanced to provide training and research facilities in various disciplines. The Directorate of Distance Education of this university was added to its departments in 1976 and has strived hard since then to stick to its motto of ‘Quality Education at Learner’s Doorstep’. The college aims to be recognized as one of the high level learning institutions imparting education along with moral values and helping to create better citizens. The students are taught to face the world and all its challenges with confidence and also to work together towards the betterment of the society as a whole.

Eligibility
The applicant must either hold a bachelor’s degree from Kurukshetra University in any discipline or an equivalent recognized course certificate. The candidate must also have a pass mark in all exams at degree level to be admitted to the MCA course.

Admission Procedure
The admission to this university based on qualifying a common Entrance Test conducted by Kurukshetra University at various centers for applicants in MBA, MCA and MBA –Hospital Management. The test will be mostly comprised of multiple choice questions that check the English language, mathematical skills, IQ and general awareness of the candidates. The entrance test has no negative marking and has a total of 50 questions which has to be answered in 1 hour time. . It is compulsory that MCA aspirants have to attend mathematical questions.
