This university devoted to women’s issues is located at
Kodaikanal. Mother Teresa Women's University was established in
1984 and is committed to the welfare of the rural women. The
motto of the university is “towards equal status”. This
university is given B++ accreditation by NAAC. The distant
education program of the university stated in 1988 has made
education accessible to women of any age. The university offers
certificate, under graduate and post graduate courses in
different streams. There are two research and extension centers
located in Chennai and Madurai. The distant education
directorate is at Kodaikanal.
Eligibility criteria
Any female with a pass in the bachelors’ degree is eligible for
admission to the MBA course. The duration of the course is for
two years. A candidate should register with the university to be
eligible for admission. The registration fee for MBA is Rs
150/-.
Admission procedure
The application and prospectus is available at the directorate
of distance education of Mother Teresa Women’s University,
Kodaikanal – 642 101 or from the extension centers in Chennai
and Madurai either by post or in person. The duly filled
application should be submitted before the specified date along
with the necessary certificates. After verifying the documents
the university will confirm the admission and will issue ID card
and assign enrolment number to the candidate. all enquires
