Mahatma Gandhi University is one of the pioneer’s educational Universities in Kerala that is providing quality education and research oriented programs for a number of students in central Kerala since its inception on the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi in the year 1983. The University is located on a 110 acre land known as the Priyadarshini Hills in Kottayam district of Kerala. The School of Distance Education (SDE) of the Mahatma Gandhi University has been in existence since 1990 and is providing quality education to the people living in far flung areas in the interior parts of Central Kerala through correspondence courses. At present the SDE has a total of 64 off campus centers within India and about 8 off campus centers abroad.

Eligibility Criteria:
The distance education Master of Business Administration course offered by Mahatma Gandhi University is for a two year course. Any candidate interested to take up the course should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized University or from the Mahatma Gandhi University. Also, candidates with any other equivalent degree like professional degrees in Engineering and Technology, Law, Medicine etc from any recognized University will also be eligible for admission to the MBA course.

Admission Procedure:
Any eligible candidate interested to join the Master of Business Administration distance education course of Mahatma Gandhi University should undergo the common entrance test conducted by the University on a specified date. Only the candidates who take this entrance test will be considered for admission to the MBA course. The seats to the course will be allotted on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance test as well as the marks that the candidate scores in his qualifying Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
