Bharathidasan University Distance Education MBA Admission

The Bharathidasan University was formed by an Act 2 passed by the Tamil Nadu Government in 1982 and since then the University has grown into the most sought after educational destination for many students in Tamil Nadu who seek good quality education system to make a bright start into the future. The Bharathidasan University is located on a vast campus of over 750 acres in the temple city of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu and is named after the legend and revolutionary poet Late Bharathidasan. The University has been recognized by the University Grants Commission in 1985 and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. The University has also been accredited with the “A” grade status by NAAC. The Bharathidasan University’s Center for Distance Education was started in the year 1992 mainly to take care of the educational needs of the students who are not able to attend the regular courses for higher studies.

Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate seeking admission to the MBA program offered by the Centre of distance education of Bharathidasan University should possess an undergraduate degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualifying degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University or from colleges affiliated to the University. Also, a candidate with relevant work experience certificate will be declared eligible for the course if he or she produces the work experience certificate and the cut of marks required for these candidates may be less than 50% marks.

Admission Procedure:
The eligible candidates will be admitted to the MBA course based on the marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the University as well as the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
