Entrance Exam 2013-2014
Christ University in Bangalore, Karnataka invites applications
for the admission into B Ed (Bachelor of Education) programme
every year. The B Ed (Bachelor of Education) is the course that
is having one-year academic period with 2 semesters. The first
year semester duration is 16 weeks and the second semester
duration is 18 weeks. Minimum time duration of the practice
teaching should be 6 weeks excluding programmes of simulated
teaching, microteaching, and communication skill practices. The
Christ University is entrenched in mutual respect, gospel

teamwork.
Eligibility
Candidate need to pass the BA or BSc examination from the
Bangalore University or other recognised university of India or
abroad with equivalent to 10+2+3 education pattern with 50%
marks in total from all subjects including the languages, and
excluding class and internal marks given is adequate to apply.
Candidate should have studied in minimum one of following
languages: English, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Sanskrit, and Urdu.
Candidates outside from Karnataka should have studied besides
language minimum two electives given below in their the
three-year course through appearing in any one subject of the
university exams for minimum 2 years and in main subjects for
all the three years with no change in the subject.
The electives are History, Sociology, Geography, Political
Science, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Zoology, Mathematics,
Botany, Kannada, Hindi, English, Marathi, Sanskrit, and Urdu.
