Chaudhary Charan Singh University B.Ed Entrance Exam
Chaudhary Charan Singh University, previously known as the
Meerut University, was recognized in the year 1965, for catering
the requirements of the higher education within western Uttar
Pradesh. The University had celebrated its celebration of silver
jubilee in the year 1991. Currently, it is amongst the leading
educational institutions in India, having an enormous,
pollution-free, and beautiful campus that has more than 222
acres land. It is having enormous playgrounds with experimental
fields, a rose garden, a botanical garden, Gymnasium, well
equipped Library, Indoor Stadium, Hostels for boys and girls,
Spacious Auditorium, Administrative Block, Community Centre,
Guest House, Medical Centre, Canteen, Post office, Bank, and
quarters for the employees and faculty members.
The teaching department have different faculties, in-housed in
large buildings and having advanced facilities and well-equipped
laboratories. The University is also having separate engineering
college that is currently providing courses for B.Tech in a
number of different engineering branches. The Ph.D.and M.Phil
programmes were taking place in the year 1969, having credit of
becoming the first University of India to introduce the M.Phil
programme.
In the year 1973, the Post Graduate courses were started with
modernized syllabi. Since then, this University is continuing at
the stable rate. During VIII five year plans, the introduction
of the self-financed courses initiating with changing demands of
society as well as also for the human resources expansion, were
intended. At present, there are around five faculties having 22
UGC sponsored as well as 35 self financed courses run in campus.
Around 252 professional institutions or 109 colleges with 1
element college are associated to the Chaudhary Charan Singh
University.
