Bharathidasan University (BDU) BEd Entrance Exam 2013-2014

Every year, the Bharathidasan University organized the entrance test for the candidates who desire to take the admission in the B.Ed course. This course is provided through the distance education under the Department of the Distance Education. Bharathidasan University was recognized in the year 1982 under the Government of Tamil Nadu Act. The university is accepted by the UGC and all distance courses together with the B Ed course is also approved by the NEC.

Eligibility
Candidate who desires to enter this course needs be Graduate from one recognized University having minimum 55% in the B.A in the subjects like Tamil, English, Chemistry, Maths and other subjects, which are listed by university. Candidate needs to have 2 years of working experience within teaching profession. The candidate, who desires to do B.Ed in the subjects like Commerce, Home Science, and Economics, needs to be graduated in that particular subject.

Examination Pattern
All questions in the entrance test should be completed on the 2 hours contains 100 questions of 100 marks. All questions are of objective type and multiple questions. The paper is divided into the 2 parts. The first part is having Logical & Analytical Reasoning and General English Comprehension. The 2nd part is having questions of the subjects taken by the candidate.

Application Procedures
The application form should be obtained from the universities learning centres, which are spread in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. The study list can be acquired from university website http://www.bdu.ac.in . The candidate needs to pay a demand draft of Rs 500/- with requisition letter. The demand draft needs be drawn from any nationalized bank favoring “Centre of the Distance Education, at Bharathidasan University”.
