Bangalore University B.Ed Admission 2013-2014

Bangalore University is located in Karnataka State in India. Earlier it was known as the Central College and was renamed as Bangalore University in the year 1964 by the University Grants Commission. When it started there were only two important colleges under this University. Now the number of collages affiliated to this University is reached more than 600. This University has completed 40 years and new courses and programs are added every year. The campus was shifted to Jnana Bharthi in 1973. The University offers a large number of graduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Business studies, Engineering etc.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicants for the B.Ed course should have a B. Sc or B.A degree or equivalent degree from Bangalore University or any other recognized universities. The candidate should have an aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam. In the English optional, the applicant should possess at least 55% mark. The candidate should be a citizen of India.

Admission Procedure
The candidate who wishes to join the B. Ed course conducted by Bangalore University will have to submit the application which is neatly and correctly filled to the coordinator on time. All the information provided should be correct. If the candidate is eligible he/ she will be called for a written test. The candidates who are able to score atleast 40 % mark in the admission test will be considered for admission. The fee should be remitted at the time of admission and all the original certificates of qualification should be produced for perusal. The admission is purely on the merit scored in the test.
