University of Kerala courses
The University of Kerala is one of the oldest and affiliating universities in India. This University is exactly situated in Thiruvananthapuram, in the state of Kerala, India. The University of Kerala was established in the year 1937 under the act of the Kerala University Act. The University of Travancore is the old name of University of Kerala and it was established by anouncement of the Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the former Maharaja of Travancore. And he himself worked as the first Chancellor of the Kerala University with his Diwan of the State, Sir C. P Ramaswamy Ayyar as the first Vice-Chancellor. The University of Kerala was the 16th University in India to establish and 10 Colleges in the State of Travancore was affiliated to the University, before the rise of this University, these 10 colleges were affiliated to the University of Madras. The University of Kerala is one of the top Universities in India with all needed amenities and the standard of education is also good in this University. The main motto of this University is "Karmaṇi Vyajyate Prajña” which is taken from famous religious book - Panchatantra.

The University of Kerala holds about three excellent campuses located in the different parts of the Kerala State namely Ernakulam, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram. The University of Kerala has 41 departments of academic courses and research and more than 16 faculties. The University holds about 81 affiliated colleges with it, in which 2 Medical Colleges, 2 are law Colleges, 4 Engineering Colleges, 45 college are aided first grade Arts and Science Colleges, 7 are aided Teachers Training Colleges, 8 are unaided first grade Arts and Science Colleges, 6 unaided Teachers Training Colleges, 1 Ayurveda and Homeopathy College, 2 Fine Arts Colleges, 1 Music College and the university also has a separate College for Physical Education.
