University of Calcutta Courses

The University of Calcutta is one of the most prominent and oldest public Universities in India that has been imparting quality education to various student communities through its disciplined and successful mode of education since its inception on January 24th 1857. Eligibility criteria:
Any candidate seeking admission to the B Tech courses offered by the University should possess a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in the specific subject chosen. A candidate seeking admission to the MCA program offered by the University should possess either an Engineering degree with 60% marks or should be an Honors graduate with 55% marks in the respective honors subject or should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a minimum of 60% marks. Eligibility requirements for candidates interested to take up undergraduate programs in Science, Arts and Commerce is that he or she should pass the Higher Secondary examination or 10+2 exam conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Council or any other recognized State Board.

Admission Procedure:
Any candidate who is eligible to take up the MCA course offered by the University of Calcutta will be declared fit for admission on the basis of the marks that he or she obtains in the entrance test conducted by the University. Any aspirant willing to take up a certain course offered by the University is required to duly fill in the application form offered by the University and attach all the relevant documents and hand it over to the corresponding department before the due date.
